Have you ever used an impact driver and socket adapter to fasten a nut and the socket got stuck to the adapter?
Whether it’s deck building or assembling a backyard play-set, setting nuts with an impact driver makes sense, mostly because it’s fast and powerful.
However, there’s a lot of force coming to bear on a very small surface and sometimes the adapter and socket freeze together. Good luck trying to pull them apart. But I’ve found a way to separate them.
