In our FixitUpLife, I usually take the lead with the planning and design of our projects, and then take the backseat as a helper/assistant to Mark during construction. He’s wildly more experienced than me, and has been working as a remodeler and carpenter building everything from docks to kitchens in his decades of working.
But, for roof projects, I usually keep my feet stuck to the ground trying to keep up with photos and videos so we can share the how-to tips and step-by-step with you.
We were lucky enough to be able to rent a 35-foot Tow-Pro aerial work platform from Modern Group for the roof project we’re working on this week, so I can get some really great images from up above, and help deliver some of the material from what I’ve now dubbed my ‘Lady Lift.’
I’m not at all jealous of not putting on tools for this project, and certainly grateful for the hard work Mark and our friend Matias are delivering up on the rooftop in 90+ degree weather.
And I feel like a lucky lady inside my lift since I get the pleasure of watching my favorite home improvement expert hard at work.
