Skil’s legendary Mag77 is a 7-¼-inch wormdrive circular saw and, well, it’s no joke that it is a legend among framers. This tool has cut mile upon mile of studs, headers, rafters, plywood, siding and deck boards. We’ve even geared it up with a diamond blade and cut solid concrete; and outfitted it with framing blades to plunge cut through roofs for skylights. The reason circular saws are often called “skilsaw” is because of this very tool.
