FixitUp Find: Warner #378 5-in-1 Glazier Knife

5 tools in 1 — and counting

To say that I don’t enjoy painting could be construed as an exercise in understatement.

Don’t get me wrong: a good painter is a craftsman. And a super-tight paint job — and the person who applies it — is worth its weight in quality awards and happy customers. It’s just that it’s not for me. “To each his own,” as Shakespeare pointed out…unless, that is, I steal your tools — which I have done with the painter’s-pal 5-in-1 tool.

My 5-in-1 rides shotgun in my tool pouch and I reach for it constantly. No kidding, I use it more than my hammer or chalk-line.
