The Western Red Cedar Lumber Association received some very impressive entries, making this final decision extremely difficult for our judges. But a lively discussion led us to … Reid of Minneapolis, Minnesota as our $1,500 grand prize winner! After hearing the news, Reid said he has plenty of projects on his summer list, so the extra cash will be a huge help. We look forward to seeing more!

Want to win $1500? You just have to share a photo of an outdoor project you’ve built with Western Red Cedar, and write a few lines about what you’ve created. That’s it.
The Western Red Cedar Lumber Association is looking for outdoor home improvement projects by real people using cedar in the ‘Real Cedar Real DIY Contest.”
