Dry cracked hands? Fix ’em fast.

Heal dry, cracked hands with O'Keefe's Working Hands cream.

Dry, cracked hands are a DIY reality. Hands and fingers turning to sandpaper means work is getting done. But when my skin cracks open, that slows me down so I need to fix ’em fast.

What usually leads to uber-dry and cracked hands for me is a combination of cold weather and warm/cold or wet/dry conditions, something we often find on projects like Food Network’s Save My Bakery where we we’re constantly running inside and outside to do make cuts or install molding. Or winter deck builds when there’s water involved, say for mixing concrete or using caulk. Wearing gloves or not wearing gloves seems to have no effect other than to keep debris from getting into the 1/8-inch deep fingertip fissure.

Turns out, there’s a cure. O’Keefe’s Working Hands sent me their hand cream and, no joke, it worked almost instantly to relieve the pain and dryness an ocean of lotion couldn’t quench. After that it took only a few days for it to help my skin heal and prevent more dry, cracked hands.

That’s a fast fix that works. Thumb up.
