One of my favorite new home products is the Formica Writable Surfaces collection.
New Writable Surfaces collection from Formica makes me happy.
Yes, whiteboards and chalkboards have been popular for a long time in home design. But I have never seen a surface for counters and walls that is designed for writing on it. Until now.
The writable surfaces offer the expected black chalkboard and white writable surface, but they also have a few patterns and colors, too. My favorite is the grid. It could be the perfect surface material for a home office, kid workspace, or a home gym.
When I met Mark, his office was covered in white boards. After moving his office a few times, he no longer is surrounded by writable surfaces. While we are finishing the man cave in our basement, with the addition of an office and studio, I’m thinking this might make my husband very happy.
And when life gets really busy, I’ve been known to leave so many sticky notes on our kitchen counter over the years that I bet I’m responsible for more than a few trees.
Thank you, Formica for innovating an extremely fun and useful surface material. And we will be sharing more home design innovations from the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show on our blog.
