I depend heavily on miter saws.
They’re with me from framing to trim. I task them with blowing through blocking and tricky finish cuts. For my work, style and methods, it’s almost always worth the extra time required to transport, set up, use, then break-down and re-transport this tool.
And since they’ve been around, I’ve been a huge fan of sliding compound miter saws. They’ve been the nexus of my shop and site for no less than half of my building career.
