Ed Begely Jr. is one of the people whose commitment and vision has literally helped change the world. While interviewing him, my mind was racing. Among other things it’s clear that one reality of the environmental movement over time is that unless and/or until it’s easy, it takes the early adopters and pioneers like Begley Jr. to do the heavy lifting before the rest of us catch up. It’s human nature to do what’s easy.
The good news is that, because of the Begley Jr.’s of the world and cutting edge products built to meet the need, we’re moving rapidly in the right direction—Begley’s shortlist of enviro-achievements is incredible!
