New decking product from Deck Expo. Rich Pocock shares news of the new Guardian Trim & Guardeck from Guardian Building Products. Guardeck products look and feel like premium grade, high-maintenance wood decking but without the fuss. The four color options span far beyond traditional decking and possess technologically advanced color retention properties. And, the company says they are introducing many more colors in 2011, and can make the decking product and matching rails in any custom color, too.
Decking trends from inside the industry with Andy Engel, editor of Professional Deck Builder magazine. Published bimonthly, Professional Deck Builder magazine educates and informs professional deck, dock, and railing builders. Andy talks with Mark and Theresa about new products he’s enjoying from the exhibitors, including a planetary sander that he was checking out at Deck Expo. And, Theresa asks about the Utilikilt that Andy wore while he presented a clinic at another recent trade show. Andy is an all-around home improvement expert and author of Building Stairs and editor of Wood Flooring.
