How to: Add whimsy to your fun bathroom makeover.

If you are looking for fun bathroom ideas, take a peek at a few of my favorites from the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. These will definitely add some whimsy to your bathroom makeover project.

Go fish sink.

I’ve been a fan of Thompson Traders for a few years. Their hand-crafted copper vessels are stunning works of art made by master craftsmen in an historic coppersmithing region in Mexico. While most of the vessels are on the more traditional side of style, this fish is a whimsical charmer. Called the Ibiza, the inspiration was the island in the Mediterranean. It is finished in satin gold and handmade of pure copper. The finish was created to inhibit the patina that occurs with natural copper.

Stiletto styled bathtub

My husband often asks why I didn’t pursue fashion as a career, as I obsess over red carpets, seasonal trends, and fashion documentaries and books. So it’s a delight to see Valley Acrylic’s high heel bathtub with the signature red Louboutin bottom. Called the Stiletto bathtub, it has a waterfall spout and also is available with a white interior.

Nose faucet

Ridiculously creative, the Pinnochio faucet from Emmevi is perfection in a child’s bathroom or a playful guest bathroom. The Italian-based company showcased the solid brass faucet that has a coating of wood-like veneer at the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. Available in colored wood (as shown), natural wood, polished chrome, and white, the Pinnochio faucet is an irresistible smile-maker.

Lego cabinet

This Lego Rev-A-Shelf custom made LEGO vanity was happily on display at KBIS 2018. A custom, one-of-a-kind creation, it was a fun way to show off the versatility of the new vanity products, the Lego legs were actually built by hand by Rev-A-Shelf’s marketing department. Just as creative as this vanity, the company makes a variety of innovative kitchen, bath and closet storage accessories that can completely change the way you access and use your everyday, and special occasion, household items.
