It’s the holly jolly season of festive DIY projects.
Decorating for the holidays is fun. There’s the moment when we pull out the boxes of decorations from past seasons, and decide what we’ll use again. As a DIY family, we are constantly adding DIY projects and editing our collection, too.
If you are new to decorating for the holidays, or trying a new thing like stringing lights, our biggest and best-used advice is to start small. Segment the project into smaller DIY projects, and tackle each. This way you can celebrate small achievements, and have the option to stop at the end of any of the projects and save those ideas for next year.
Whether you are a minimalist when it comes to holiday decor, or a maximalist, there’s plenty of Pinspiration available to amp your creativity this season.
I’ve been looking at ideas for decorating with holiday lights on Pinterest, and gathered a few of my favorites here.
