How-to: Frame a wall

Here’s how I frame a wall, and make the process fast, accurate, and fun.

There are some tips that I think are useful for pros, new carpenters, remodelers, and DIYers who may be binge-watching how-to videos. (Mining home improvement tips on YouTube is something the professionals do, too.)

I prefer to use wood when building a wall. It’s easier to cut, faster to move, way easier to fasten, and 10-million-times easier to customize around pipes, windows, doors, and the umpteen other obstructions in a house.
