If there’s such a thing as a macho gene, one look at International’s XT truck series promises to tweak that ganglia.
The XTs are big. And by big, I mean all forms of it: boss, macho, intense, over the top, attention-snaring, day-seizing. I’m running out of adjectives; please add your own at will.
The trucks are pure testaments to size and power. The CXT is the Guinness Book world record holder as the biggest pick-up truck in production — the undisputed heavyweight champ. They look like their over-the-road cousins, but they’re also luxurious. And if you ask me, even at around 14,000 pounds, 9 feet tall and 21-1/2 feet long, they’re sleek with pleasing lines and primo detailing. I’ve climbed into the cab of the CXT, and it’s like driving a building down the street — an uncommonly plush building, at that.
