Hello! Today we’re going to talk about when I build with my dad, Mark.
I have built many things with him because he has been a carpenter all my life. Some of the things we made are step stools, benches, toolboxes and lemonade stands. All of these we made when I was little, so I got help on all of them.
But the one I did all by myself is my B.O.O, Barbie Outfit Organizer. For more information about it read my B.O.O blog.
My Dad has taught me a lot of things about building and one of them is that there are a lot more steps to building something than you think.
For example, The Playhouse. Me and Dad were building the bottom of the first tower. I thought it would only take a little bit. It took a couple hours!
Another thing learned is that you always have to have the right equipment. If you don’t then sometimes you might not be able to do a project. For example, If you had a two foot screw and didn’t have a two foot screwdriver you couldn’t do the job.
One other thing Dad taught me is that a job doesn’t have to look perfect. Goodbye!
