Take your man cave from lame to loud in a weekend with some sweet upcycle, repair, and DIY projects that’ll refine a rusted, busted space.

Take your man cave from lame to loud with kickin’ color and wicked rust protection

Rusted, because lots of us park cars, lawnmowers, bikes, and bags of driveway salt in our man cave. And ‘busted’ because anything from cellars that should be a dry basement to re-purposed tool sheds tend to collect, well, the crap we really don’t use. And it takes its toll.

So take it back.

That’s what Mike (from the uber-site Instructables) and I do with this man cave to eek out space for tools, TV, and the big game on the Krylon Spraydown.

From repairing the NOT uber-grade steel door to coordinating colors that work—wait, what?!…man cave color…oh yeah—to adding some industrial looking finds that put the fun in functional, we beat back the junk jungle. It’s inexpensive, fast and easy. And we overcome one of the major things many a man cave suffers from: Rust.

What’s not to love? Here’s the whole story.
