Mark’s Creative Present Wrapping

My husband has his own wrapping style.

Every holiday, birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day…I have an equal amount of excited anticipation between the gift and the presentation of the gift.

Let me provide a little background: Mark enjoys creating gifts for his family, and then he looks around the shop to find ways to seal them from our eyes.

And, I chose the word ‘seal’ deliberately. He has used tar paper, Grace Ice & Water shield, 5-gallon buckets, staples, duct tape, and anything else he can get his hands on in the shop.

For friends and family who visit our home and see the interesting creations, it is always startling. Well, it could appear that we haven’t ‘taken out the trash’ yet to the eyes of a Mark-present-recipient novice.

But to my eyes, it’s a delight. It’s a treasure.
