MyFixitUpLife radio show w/Mark & Theresa brings you the second part of the Popular Mechanics Volunteer Day at a Rebuilding Together Philadelphia project.
Mark and Theresa broadcast from a Rebuilding Together Philadelphia project in the Wister section of Germantown in Philadelphia during a special Popular Mechanics volunteer day. They helped build a fence, raised garden beds, composting area, and more in a vacant lot.
Popular Mechanics magazine funded energy-efficient modifications for 22 homes on the unit block of Garfield Street in Germantown. The energy-efficient upgrades delivered in the homes will impact the entire community and assist direction of the green revolution to low-income neighborhoods, where energy-efficient modifications and upgrades can have the most direct impact to the homeowners.
