We’re talking with the experts HGTV’s Chris Lambton and This Old House’s Roger Cook: What makes a grass become a ‘lawn’? Tune in.
Green grass rules most lawns, but is that the only thing that makes a lawn? Mark started his career in home improvement as a landscaper in Cape Cod and has strong opinions about grass, yards, and lawn equipment. He’s often seen ‘walking the property’ and loves to care for their yard. Theresa is not a lawn expert, and sees a landscape as art in terms of color, shape and texture.
So we’ve invited two landscaping experts to join Mark & Theresa to talk about lawns and yards. Chris Lambton and Roger Cook are diving in to share favorite mowers, spring planting tips, landscaping pet peeves, ways to enjoy a yard, water conservation issues, and dealing with the new view of what is a ‘lawn.’
Chris Lambton is DIY Network’s ‘Yard Crashers‘ host and landscaping expert. A Cape Cod native, he and his wife Peyton Lambton hosted ‘Going Yard’ on HGTV. Often seen on The Weather Channel with his landscaping expert dad, Chris’ passion for yardscaping is infectious.
Roger Cook is the landscape contractor for the Emmy Award-winning This Old House, and appears on its sister show, Ask This Old House. Roger motivates aspiring green thumbs and inspires stumped professionals with expert advice learned over the course of a lifetime in landscaping.
