As luck has it, we were working with a new homeowner who wanted cable railing on a deck replacement and were asked to try out cable railing simultaneously.
Why did we choose cable?
While we’ve stuck with wood rails, or a combo of wood and metal for a more sophisticated and modern look, we’ve been wanting an excuse to try a cable system. From where we stood, it looked like it would be more difficult to install and painstaking, which isn’t how we stay profitable in a remodeling business.
However, with a company that has a stellar reputation sharing a sample with us, we said: Why not now?
So we worked with the homeowner to create the deck she was dreaming about for her new home. Gone is the deck that was remuddled by former owner-flippers who made the deck look good from far, but far from good.
