Yes, painting is easier with an edger tool from Shur-Line.

Painting is easier with the new edger from Shur-Line that gives you an even better paint line than the original.

You don’t have to be an experienced painter to edge perfectly. Painting is easier with this tool.

Tools evolve after they’ve been out in the real world for a while.

I recently shared a fun video about painting a bathroom, with my 7-months pregnant girlfriend almost in tears trying to tape off the room.

It’s a humorous take on the real-world frustration of trying to tape a perfect edge, and then trying to paint the perfect line without paint bleed. Painting is easier than that.

(Yes, all tapes aren’t created equal. But that’s a topic for another day.)

But when you are painting along an edge, like tile, baseboard, or door trim, you can use this handy little edging tool from Shur-Line, no matter if you’ve ever painted before.

The first generation of this tool had wheels that could get a bit of paint on them if you used it a lot, and dipped into deep paint. We’re human, so when we human DIYers start using a tool created by experts, the experts gather around and figure out solutions to our real-world situations.

Now the little paint edger’s wheels can be popped back from the tool when you dip into paint, so painting is easier.

Here’s a quick video that will explain this way better than I could ever explain with words.

And here’s our fun video about painting a small bathroom with the edger.
