During 2020, there were 290,599 trips to the hospital for home improvement injuries, according to a study of U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission data by Clearsurance.com

The top injuries were lacerations, fractures, and contusions or abrasions, and the top three body parts injured were finger, hand, and eyeball. So stay safe, and wear those safety glasses and gloves when you are fixing up your home.
