Stuck screw? Use your impact driver and a knot to remove it.

‣ MyFixitUpLife stuck screw impact driver milwaukeeTake the frustration out of a stuck screw with a knot and your impact driver.

Stuck screws happen when you are taking a screw out of a piece of wood. The screw can get stuck on the shank where there are no threads.  Then it just spins. And it can seem impossible to remove.

But there’s a trick to getting it out.

Put another piece of wood behind it. Then put the tip of the screw on a knot. Apply a little downward pressure on your impact driver with your hand.

You should be able to back that screw right out.
