We’re giving thanks this Thanksgiving by looking back at the year helping homeowners with Rebuilding Together.
Mark and I are lucky to have a happy family and a safe and healthy home, and we’re thankful to have the skills to help others create and improve homes.
We spend a great deal of time being inspired by experts in home improvement that we’ve met who blog, host TV shows, train professionals at trade shows, and share their expertise in videos and magazine articles. And sharing what we’ve learned is just as important. It’s a way for us to give back.
For more than a year, we’ve had the good fortune to travel around the country to help low-income homeowners with Rebuilding Together. With the help of 3.4 million volunteers, Rebuilding Together has delivered more than $1.3 billion in market value since its founding almost 25 years ago.
What that means to the people who live in those homes? It means help with critical repairs and renovations for those 100,000+ low-income homeowners across the nation. And that’s a reason to give thanks. Thank you Rebuilding Together.
