Your home can create a better life with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
We need to be better prepared with both empathy and a smart plan to best care for our aging family members.
Theresa is speaking at Acts Retirement in Southampton, PA on Sunday, March 26th at 2:30pm about home design tips and easy updates that can make aging-in-place easier, and can prepare you and your home for a loved one who may have dementia.
She’s shared her design tips at home shows, national conferences, and senior communities, and been interviewed by journalists for newspaper, magazine, and radio about her unique approach to designing for aging-in-place. She calls this the Design Prescription (Rx).

My wife has stage 2 Alzheimer’s and enjoys looking at old photos. I am using a digital photo frame and I’m in the process of loading it with pictures from the past. Pictures from her childhood, pictures of her parents, grandchildren and pictures of our life together for 47 years. I hope someone fins this helpful.
