My husband Mark loves to turn into Santa every year, heading down to the shop to make presents for his family.
Some of his best presents are a wagon he made for Lexi, a wedding frame from original wood from our home, cutting boards from countertop cut-offs, and a show-stopping creation from old window weights in the house (see photo).
My husband knows that I love to celebrate the history of our home, and of homes in general. And it is truly special to see what he creates from his holiday workshop.
