How we did Vegas (with 125,000 construction and design pros) #DCW

Here’s what happens in Vegas when Mark and Theresa (with 125,000 construction and design professionals) geek out on innovations.

Every year it’s like a mini vacation-festival-celebration of the coolest innovations and savviest trendsetters in the construction and design world. It’s Design Construction Week.

We are lucky to go to the annual celebration in Vegas where we tour the show floor at the International Builders’ Show and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. And have the pleasure to interview experts, editors, and celebrities about trends, products, and everything else under the sun. Our friends at Formica Corporation, Wellborn, HomeAdvisor, Spax, and LampsPlus.com hosted our MyFixitUpLife talk show, and we are always so thankful for them, and the amazing products they are creating.

There’s so much to share, we”ll be airing and sharing interviews, photos, and videos throughout the next month. And it will take us the entire year to totally wrap our brains around what we were able to see, touch, and occasionally taste. (Yes, there are amazing chefs showing and sharing treats in so many exhibits.)

For now, here’s a little teaser of our adventures in Vegas with 125,000 construction and design professionals.

  • I am so sorry that I wasn't able to catch one of your many appearances live! I would have enjoy that. Thankfully, though the powers of social media, I was able to at least follow some of the happenings. I look forward to reading the blogs and seeing the videos as they are released.
