Let’s try it: Touch-up paint pen from Slobproof

Entry-door-after-slobproof paint pen

A touch-up paint pen can be a helper if it doesn’t dry out or is difficult to use, so I was intrigued to try the touch-up paint pen from Slobproof. The company says that the paint won’t dry out for seven years, and I’m hoping that’s true.

It doesn’t matter how good a paint job looks when we’re done. There’s always something around the house that needs a little touch-up with paint at my house. Especially our entry doors and baseboards are often in need of a dab of paint.

Here’s how to use the Slobproof paint pen:

1. Use syringe to get paint from paint can into pen.

2. Then fill pen to fill line.

3. Next snap on brush tip.

4. Use the pen to touch up marks or dings.

5. Rinse brush tip after painting.

6. Snap on protective cover.

7. Lastly, store in kitchen drawer.

With our FixitUpLife, I know we’ll need to do touch-ups again, and this seems like a handy quick fix tool that I hope I won’t need, but I’m glad it’s ready.
