Here are ways to infuse springtime into your porch, deck, or backyard.
There are a few favorite ways to infuse springtime into my home’s outdoor spaces. They include adding flowers in tabletop and porch planters, updating fabrics on pillows and throws, and using paint to makeover furniture and outdoor elements.
It can be an inexpensive endeavor to update your backyard for spring, but the key is to plan it out before you head to the store. If you don’t have a plan, you may be tempted to get those ‘just in case’ items. Those purchases add up and can blow a budget. And they aren’t as big of an impact as something else that might fit better with your home and budget.
I’m always tempted at almost every shop by the attractive little treasures on the shelves, but it’s knowing your home and knowing how to make that smart impact that can truly take your home into spring. And save those other dollars for the backyard parties you’ll be ready to host.
