Even though it’s still winter, we still can garden inside. Let’s make a wall garden together, live on blab with Jeanine from AphroChic.

Bringing the garden indoors as with garden wall art is something that we treasure, as it gives texture and that sense of ‘life’ that even the most gorgeous home decor can’t mimick.

Against a brick wall, this charming little succulent garden is visually striking and fun, too.

It’s not everyday we get to garden with friends from all over the world, but we can on blab.

On Wednesday, February 3rd, Jeanine Hays from AphroChic is sharing a favorite gardening project with us on our weekly MyFixitUpLife’s #DIYnight on blab.

She’s created this garden wall art project for her own home, and we’re ready to include it in ours. If you’d like to make a wall garden of succulents with us, gather up the supplies on the list below, tune into blab on February 3rd at 7pmET, and get ready to have some fun.

We’ll be talking interior design trends, ideas, gardening, and answering your questions. You can use the chat window on the side of blab to ask us anything, share links to your projects, or share your DIY and design tips.
– hammer
– nails
– 3- to 5-inch succulents (check out your local Lowe’s. Ours has succulents in stock.)

Be sure to RSVP!

The white ceramic pots on the brick wall help balance the white kitchen on the right, and the succulents give the room texture and a touch of nature that is so soothing and smile-causing.

Jeanine reflects on how her home tells her story:

“The most beautiful homes tell a story. In our Brooklyn apartment we worked to tell our very own. This is our most personal space, filled with works from many of our favorite artists and designers, as well as our own AphroChic products. A true reflection of our design and brand philosophy, we worked to weave pops of color and cultural pieces into the design story. From Moroccan rugs and kantha quilts to our colorful curtains and fashion illustrated gallery wall, this is our personal expression of modern, soulful, style. We’ve enjoyed sharing this space with many different audiences. You can see more of our home on NBC Open House NY, ElleDecor.com and Design*Sponge.”
