Quiet Accessibility from American Standard, listen now!

Mark & Theresa talk w/ Kalpesh Nanji from American Standard

Quiet Accessibility?

Listen to Mark & Theresa’s interview w/ Kalpesh Nanji, CAPS, NAIPC, from American Standard at the International Builders’ Show to find out.

Kal is sharing news of American Standard’s new line of accessible, safe solutions for our aging-in-place population, and the company’s desire to make sure their products are comfortable, easy to use, and never compromise style for comfort and safety.

American Standard Walk-in-Tub

He says the company looks at how people are using bath products in their home, and then they create new products to respond. Mark & Theresa love the real-world response to make our homes fit our needs.

A great example of American Standard’s commitment to style and safety is their large walk-in tub with a door, built-in seat, and options for fast water draining, whirlpool, air spa, and combo massage. And they can be used for retrofit, too.

Mark remarks that: “As gross as it is, plumbing… we all know what we’re dealing with. It is absolutely a pillar of civilized society. There’s no such thing as a civilized society that doesn’t have a clean bathroom.”

Theresa also shares a recent American Standard tweet that stated we will flush the toilet 140,000 times in our lifetime. Now, that just gives us some perspective on how much time we really spend in the bathroom.
